Air Change Rate refers to the number of times the air should be changed per hour for a given room type. The air change rates used are nominated to meet Australian Standards and recommended practice.
Room volume must be determined so that the amount of air flow required to achieve the air change rate in the room may be calculated. (Air Volume (m3/h) = Air Change Rate per Hour (ACH) x Room Volume (m3)).
Select the fan mounting type that best suits your installation. (Note that kitchen exhaust applications in all instances and bathrooms and toilets in some cases require the exhaust air to be vented to outside - Refer to "The Regulations")
